Cookies are my favorite treats. I think I have mentioned before how much I love cookies because of how easily transportable they are. I can be on the go, heading to school, working on recipes, or babysitting my siblings while still munching away on a yummy treat. It really is a delicious and fun way to have a treat anywhere you go.
Recently I mentioned how much I love cookies and my husband loves brownies. It was always an issue with us because I wanted to enjoy fresh baked cookies at every meal while he wanted a batch of freshly baked brownies! It was a struggle figuring out who’s turn it was to have what they wanted as an after dinner treat. Well, I put together a recipe for brownie cookies that were a hit in our home! We loved them and now do not argue about who gets what anymore. So, I decided to put together the opposite: cookie brownies! These are cookie flavored dough shaped and baked in a brownie pan to give it that consistency. We both really loved the result of this chewy cookie brownie that tastes just like a cookie but has the consistency and look of a brownie.
