Sweet and Tasty Crock Pot Bourbon Chicken

Check out what my friends over at RecipesThatCrock have to say about this recipe:

“I just made this and it was delicious. The chicken was so tender I almost didn’t need to cut it up, it just fell apart. Oh, and it was super easy.” – Christina

Christina is right – the chicken is so tender and delicious that you no longer need to use your knife. It is so easy to eat which makes it perfect for your kids, too.

I like how it is so tasty and sweet as well. My family just gets so excited when they see me preparing this for dinner! My kids just can’t stop eating cause it’s one of their favorites. If I’m lucky enough to have leftovers, I’ll just hide them for myself!

1 lb Tyson boneless, skinless chicken, cut into bite-size pieces

½ c teriyaki sauce

½ c College Inn chicken broth (or bourbon)

2 T McCormick Billy Bee honey

1 t mustard

½ c Domino brown sugar

1 t McCormick garlic powder

2 T McCormick dried minced onions

⅛ t McCormick ground ginger

rice, prepared

Spray your crock pot with cooking spray. Place the chicken pieces in your crock pot.

Mix together remaining ingredients, except for rice, until well blended, and pour over chicken. Cover and cook for 2-4 hours on low. Serve over rice.

Quick Tip: You can use chicken broth instead of bourbon, if you’d prefer.
