Chase Those Sniffles Away With “Get Well Soup”

So, this past week has been kind of rough in my household. First, my youngest got sick and kept saying he felt dizzy. I suspected an earache and that’s exactly what he had. He stayed home from school for two whole days. Sheesh!

Then, on Friday, my middle son started getting sick at school and could barely even walk outside when his dad came to pick him up. Apparently, there are two very bad strains of flu going around and my household got hit with both of them.

Then, late Saturday night my husband started getting queasy in the stomach. I thought we had everyone healthy by Sunday afternoon but lo and behold, my daughter woke up this morning feeling nauseated. Great! Guess what? It won’t be my turn next!

Today, I’m in full-on damage control mode and making this wonderful get well soup. You see, I need my people feeling well as this is Christmas pageant week.

I, myself, cannot get sick as I’m the director of the show and my youngest child is in it! So, we will be eating this soup and taking probiotics until the cows come home. Enjoy!

Quick Tip: I like to eat this soup with freshly baked biscuits or dinner rolls.

Good grief! Not so bad if you just happen to have most of the ingredients in the house already, otherwise a bit expensive and a lot of trouble to make.

I thought that I clicked accept notification but it kept coming back. HELP Is this for Recipe Roost? I want it to go to my facebook not my email. I have too much going there already

This would make me worse as I am allergic to olive oil . Could I use a another oil instead like canola oil or some other oil?
