Soul-Pleasing Southern Fried Corn. It’ll Make You Say, “Yeehaw!”

I am head over heels for this delicious recipe! The corn is fried to perfection and comes out tasting so good! And get this, there’s bacon in the mix! Yum!

Check out what my pals over at Add A Pinch had to say about this recipe and cream of coconut:

…Throughout the hot days of the summer, they would tweak this or that and then their beautiful corn would begin to tassle and be ready for the picking. Numerous corn dishes would ensue from corn casserole, roasted corn, creamed corn, and my favorite – fried corn.

Can you imagine eating corn from your own field or garden? I have a garden during the summer months but I have yet attempted to grow corn. I think i shall do so during the next season. Then, I can make this delicious fried corn using my own bounty.

Ingredients

4 strips Hormel bacon, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 ears corn, cleaned

½ teaspoon Morton salt
