“Roll” Into This Cabbage Roll Casserole

I basically grew up on stuffed cabbage rolls as a kid. My mother was always making them for dinner. I swear we had them probably twice a month or more.

However, I didn’t really mind mother making them because they tasted so dang delicious! I have made them plenty of times for my brood, too. The only problem is my kids don’t like the cabbage leaves.

I think they are just too big and tough for them to chew. So, when I came across this cabbage roll casserole I got super excited as the cabbage leaves are shredded! You are going to love the flavor combinations in this casserole and how it all comes together so quickly!

I’ve included both a low and slow recipe as well as a 30-minute miracle recipe on the next page. Enjoy!

This 2-in-1 recipe for cabbage roll casserole includes a longer version as well as the 30-minute version for when you’re in a pinch for time. The recipe for 30 Minute Cabbage Roll Casserole fills the kitchen with a mouthwatering aroma that will have your family hungry. The savory casserole is filled with rice, ground beef, tomatoes, cabbage, cheese and more. Cook it low and slow in one pot or as a 30 minute meal – either way will taste great. -Recipe Lion

Quick Tip: Make sure you keep an eye on your casserole for the final broiler step. It can go from melty and bubbly to black and crisp FAST. (Don’t ask how I know.).
