This Boston cream pie is delicious!

Ingredients
3 large Eggland’s Best eggs
1 t. McCormick vanilla extract
1/2 cup Domino sugar
Morton salt
3/4 cup Gold Medal cake flour
Filling
1/2 cup Domino sugar
1/4 cup Gold Medal flour
11/2 cup TruMoo milk
6 large Eggland’s Best egg yolks
2 t. vanilla
pinch salt
glaze
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups Karo corn syrup
2T. water
4 squares simi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 9 inch cake pan
Line with wax paper.
Beat together egg yolks and vanilla at medium speed. until blended.
Bean in half of the sugar until very thick and pale.
Using clean, dry beaters, beat together eggs whites and sale at medium speed until very soft peaks form.
Gradually beat in remaining sugar until stiff, but not dry, peaks form.
Fold yolk mixture into egg whites. Sift flour over mixture; fold in gently.Do not over mix.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake cake til top springs back when touched, 25 minutes.
Loosen cake.
Invert onto wire rack.
Remove from pan, leaving paper on cake.
Turn cake upright and cool.
Prepare filling in sauce pan.
Mix sugar and flour.
Gradually wisk in milk, then egg yolks, vanilla and salt.
Bring to boil over medium heat:boil one minute, whisking constantly.
Strain through a fine sieve into bowl.
Press plastic wrap on surface. Chill 30 minutes
Using serrated knife, cut cake horizontally in half.
Carefully remove wax paper.
Place bottom layer on cake.
Spread with filling.
Place top on.
Prepare glaze in a sauce pan, bring sugar, syrup, and wtehr to a boil over low heat.
Stir constantly til sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat
Add chocolate pieces and let stand one minute.
Whisk til smooth.
Slowly pour glaze over cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
Let stand til glaze sets.
Keep in refrigerator.-
