I am totally smitten with the recipe for bread and butter pudding. When I think of pudding I envision Bill Cosby with a chocolate pudding cup, but that’s not the type of pudding we have going on here. This pudding is made from croissants and lots of butter. There are raisins and jam in the mix, too. It’s more alike a big old bowl of fluffy dessert. I love this stuff! I think bread and butter pudding made like this would be the perfect breakfast on Christmas morning. Can you imagine waking up to this goodness before you open your gifts?
Did you know that you can also make this bread and butter pudding a savory meal? Just omit all of the sweet stuff and replace it with savory ingredients like onions, basil, and tomatoes. Bread and butter pudding is insanely versatile and can be made in a variety of ways but I think I fancy this way the best. Do you have a bread and butter pudding recipe that you can’t live without? Please do share it with me in the comment section below. I always love hearing from you guys and gals. Have a great day and make this yummy bread and butter pudding!

Quick Tip: I think cranberries would taste divine in this recipe, don’t you?
Love these recipes! Now can you tell me a great recipe for date muffins? I’ve searched high and low for one. Lastly a recipe for suet pudding. My grandmther made it every xmas and I so want to as well. I think she steamed it and served it with a topping she calked “hard sauce” which I vaguely recall had sugar, butter, vanilla, an egg maybe- kind if a thick, stiff dollop of cold frosting. Any help would mean alot to me. At 71 yrs I want to make for my grand babies too. Thanks so much.
