Casserole meals are excellent dinner options when you are having a busy day because they are easy to cook and come together rather quickly. Plus, casseroles such as this one are full of nutrition and very good for you and your family.
Check out what my pals over at All Recipes had to say about this recipe:
“This is a great casserole that I threw together one day when a friend requested Broccoli au Gratin for her birthday dinner. This is a great idea for those who aren’t big fans of bread crumbs. Also, the eggs can be taken out for a great sauce and using skim milk and fat-free cheese works well, too. It’s basically a great recipe that can be easily altered according to taste. Enjoy!”
This is definitely a form of comfort food and it is made so easily! I love homestyle meals. And yes, it is a low-carb option for those who are watching their intake. You can definitely eat this meal guilt free!
