I’m sure you have all heard of stewed tomatoes, right? Have you heard of cinnamon stewed apples? I hadn’t until I came across this recipe on the internet.
After just glancing at the photo I knew I wanted to make these apples. They looked terrific! At first, I thought we would be eating them as a dessert option but then I realized they would go great with ham or a pork loin roast!
I actually made up quite a large batch of these stewed cinnamon apples and canned them. I used a water bath method for ten minutes per jar. I ended up with 10 quarts of these lovely apples.
I think I may even give some away as gifts in gift baskets over the holiday season. You are really going to be impressed at how easy these apples are to make, too. I know that I sure was!
