Oh, my heaven! These brandied cranberries are simply delightful! The first time I had them was at Thanksgiving dinner at my mother in law’s house.
She had placed this pretty crystal bowl on the table filled with vibrantly colored cranberries. I really couldn’t get over that crimson red, so deep and inviting. I took a scoop of the cranberries and immediately was impressed by the sweet, bold flavor that enraptured my mouth.
When my MIL told me what she had put in the cranberries I was shocked! Apparently, this was an old family recipe passed down from generation to generation. Now, I can’t share this generational recipe with you or else my MIL will have my head.
However, I found an amazing recipe on the internet that is almost identical to my husband’s mothers. I know you are going to be pleased with how these cranberries turn out. You’ll never purchase a can of cranberry goo again.

Quick Tip: Feel free to mush your cranberries up a bit if you do not like such a chunky relish.
