Welcome Santa To Your Home With Chocolate Cupcakes And Peppermint Frosting

Nothing beats a yummy peppermint cupcake on Christmas Eve. Shoot, I bet if you left these cupcakes out for Santa he might just give you a few extra presents because they are that good. You wouldn’t know it by the picture but these cupcakes are insanely easy to make.

There really isn’t any fancy footwork involved with these except for good old fashioned baking. I would make these all year ’round if I could. These are perfect cupcakes for classroom parties, work holiday gatherings, and any other event that you want to show off your Christmas baking skills at.

I know that I made these for a potluck at our church during the month of December and I had all kinds of ladies asking me for my recipe. Everyone loves peppermint and candy cane flavored goodies during the holidays and this recipe gives them just that. 🙂

Quick Tip: Make sure to cover your cupcakes as the frosting will develop a light crust if exposed to the air for too long. You might even consider storing these little gems in the fridge.
