A Recipe For Delicious Apple Peanut Butter Cookies

One of my favorite types of cookies growing up were peanut butter cookies.  Let’s be honest, I still love peanut butter cookies.  I look for them everywhere I go and so far, the favorites are from Subway and Panera.

Both are chewy, full of peanut butter chunks and totally delicious.  My neighbor Anne knows how much I love Peanut butter cookies and also knows how much I love her eccentric variations to my favorite food.  Think chocolate pecan pie…

Well anyway, she has come up with a variation for my favorite cookie: the peanut butter cookie.  Anyways, my what did she do to it?  She added apple chunks.

I was hesitant to try it, but was embarrassed, so I did.  It was AMAZING.  The cookies have the nuttiness of the peanut butter, but that sweet tartness of the apple.  Mmmm, how I love these.  I’m never going back to Panera and Subway.
