My husband and I were chatting the other day about our favorite desserts. I told him that I think one of mine would have to be pecan pie. I just love this pastry! My husband said that he definitely loved pecan pie but he was more of a cake person. So, we thought about putting the two together and came up with a lovely pecan cake bar recipe.
You are really going to enjoy this dessert, especially when you see how easy it is to make. My whole family enjoyed eating it, except for my youngest son due to his tree nut allergy. Don’t worry, he got ice cream 🙂

I d not have a stand up mixer. Any suggestions? I am not much of a baker. But this sounded easy, except for the mixer
