There are so many holiday recipes that are praise-worthy but traditional green bean casserole deserves the royal treatment. Literally, everyone loves this casserole and Thanksgiving dinner just wouldn’t be complete without it. As a kid, my mother always had a hefty pan of green bean casserole on the table during the holidays.
It was a staple dish. Did your mother make anything consistently during the holidays? In fact, my mom would make green bean casserole during the off-season, too.
It’s just a great casserole that is super easy to make. I mean, it really doesn’t require much other than dumping and pouring a few ingredients into a well-greased baking dish. Oh, and don’t forget the French’s French fried onions because that would be a sin.

Quick Tip: I like to add a few splashed of Worcestershire sauce into my green bean casserole. Gives it a nice flavorful kick!
