2. Slow Cooker Tortellini Soup
I was in the middle of closing my swimming pool for the year and I could smell something wonderful wafting out of mu neighbor Sally’s house. I thought to myself, “Sal is always wandering over here when I have something good cooking so I’m going to repay the favor.” I set my net and pool shock down on the deck and mosied on over to Sally’s front porch. I rang the doorbell, something Miss Sally never does, and waited for her to answer.
When sally opened the door she had a steaming bowl of what appeared to be some sort of pasta soup in her hands. “Here you go,” Sally said and gave me the bowl. Geez Louise, sally is right on top of things today! I took a bite and instantly fell in love with the robust flavors of chicken stock, cream cheese, and tortellini. You’re going to love this recipe as much as Sally and I do.
