This Hippity Hoppity Hamburger Cheese And Potato Casserole Don’t Stop! – Put Your Hands In The Air And Wave Them Like You Just Don’t Care!

Hamburger potato casserole is a bit like Shepherd’s Pie. I think that’s why I like it so much. This is a meal my mother used to make for my siblings and quite often, and we always enjoyed it as did our dad.

Check out what my pals over at AllRecipes had to say about this recipe:

“This is a recipe that my Grandmother used to keep me and my finicky cousins well fed! It is very kid friendly, and adults like it too!”

This meal is definitely kid friendly as my three little ones loved it!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

    1 cup Kraft cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain fat.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, onion, milk, salt and pepper to taste.

Alternately layer the potatoes, soup mixture and meat in a 11×7 inch (2 quart) baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Top with Cheddar cheese, and continue baking until cheese is melted.

Hamburger Cheese And Potato Casserole? That’s not a recipe, it’s just a mixture of junk by somebody who can’t cook. Yikes!
