Slap Some Ingredients Into The Slow Cooker For A Delicious Meal – 5 Crock Pot Recipes

4. Crock Pot Candy Chicken

I don’t know about the lot of you, but I’m always looking for recipes that will appeal to my kids. For the most part, they will eat what I give them, but that doesn’t mean I won’t hear any grumbling. These three little cherubs can be quite the picky eaters. That all changed the night I came across this recipe for candy chicken. Some may call it brown sugar chicken, but in my house, we refer to it as candy Crock Pot clucks. LOL!  Since there is brown sugar and lemon-lime soda in this dish, the meat comes out tasting like the chicken had been living in a candy store and not a coop. It’s good eating my friends!

My husband was quite impressed by this dish, too. He doesn’t always enjoy slow cooker meals but he did like this one. I guess “candy chicken” is appealing to dads, too 🙂
