Hey, all you rootin tootin bean lovers out there! Today is your lucky day because we are making slow cooker beans that are perfect for taking to that massive church potluck or family reunion that you are going to. Not only are these slow cooker beans easy to prepare but, they taste superior to any other bean recipe that I’ve had. You are truly going to be thankful for this little gem. It’s been said that people who don’t even like beans will like this recipe. And you know? That theory is true! My husband hates beans and he gobbled down these tender little guys like it was his last day on earth.
Now, there is one step that requires you to use your skillet but don’t let that deter you from making these beans. For the most part, everything is still cooked and simmered in the crock Pot. You just need to brown the meat and onions in the sizzly skillet for a few moments and then BOOM! It’s on to slow cooker city.

Quick Tip: Liberally coat your slow cooker in Pam cooking spray to avoid sticking and to create the environment for an easy cleanup.
Re: slow cooker beans. Isn’t this overkill to slow cook canned beans for 6-8 hours^
