Tomato soup was always a favorite growing up. I’d happily dip my grilled cheese in it until that was gone, then I skipped the spoon and drank the rest right out of the bowl. Of course, I only had canned soup which was okay.

Let me tell you about how much more amazing the homemade version is. I actually gasped in amazement when I took a bite. I thought to myself, “This soup is too good to be a sandwich dip.” Then I took my time savoring every bite with my spoon.
