Crunch Into Some Of This Strawberry Pretzel Salad

For years, I would beg my grammy to make me strawberry pretzel salad, and she would always oblige. It was so good! You had red, ripe berries, creamy cream cheese filling, and a crust with a flavorful pretzel crunch.

Talk about an amazing dessert! Finally, when I got older, my sweet grandmother taught me how to make the salad on my own, however, she swore me to secrecy. I always keep my promises.

But don’t worry, I found an amazing recipe on the Food Network that Miss Paula Deen herself created. This salad is almost just like my grandma’s! What I like most about this strawberry pretzel salad is that it is easy to make.

If you need to prepare a dessert for a church potluck or other gathering, this is a great go-to option. It can easily be doubled to fit a sheet pan when you are planning on feeding a large crowd.

Quick Tip: If you find yourself plum out of strawberry Jell-O but have raspberry or cherry on hand, go ahead and use one of those. It won’t make that much of a difference.

I love your recipes and find myself wanting to make copies almost daily. I don’t know if this has ever been addressed but I have a complaint and suggestion. Suggestion first. Your bait boxes that show up in the bottom right hand corner on my Facebook page take up so much room that it makes it difficult to use Facebook. Do they need to be quite so big? Can we, the consumer choose how many we want to see at one time? We can’t make them go away unless we opt out altogether, print one or close one. But then another just pops up in its place. Next – The comments by jessica, beneath the food photo and the comments from other food kitchens print out as jibberish and cause useless waste of ink and paper. Most of these recipes take 3 pieces of paper if not printed on two sides when, in most cases one side of one page would be all that was needed if a little re-arranging of your site could be done. The top of the page comments could be put near the bottom, just above the area where readers comments go. That part, the reader could choose to print or not but having the recipe and directions follow one another without interruption would allow printing on one page instead of three and/or having to print jibberish along with the recipe. Very aggravating. If you should want further explanation feel free to contact me. Thanks.
