Meatballs. The best part of Italian culture (well, maybe tied with pizza). It makes every pasta dish so much more delicious. One of my favorite new discoveries with meatballs is using ground turkey instead of ground beef. It truly makes a juicier and more flavorful meatball, and brings a nice change to your routines.
Prepare a nice heaping bowl of spaghetti or ziti, make this meatball skillet and drench that pasta in the prepared sauce. Toss these meatballs inside the pasta, put the cheese over the top and put it back into the oven so it all melts.
Cut up some basil and spread it over the top. So fresh, so delicious! I suggest you make a large batch of these meatballs ahead and freeze them – this way you’ll whip up dinner in no time when you’re in a hurry.
