Every Halloween I dig through my kids’ candy bags to dig out all the Butterfingers. They love them, too, but they understand they have to share with mom, because it’s my absolute favorite. The way this candy bar melts in your mouth, and sticks in the teeth for just a moment before that peanut buttery goodness dissolves is just… yum.
I just about fell out of my desk chair when I came across this Paula Deen Butterfinger cake concoction. That woman is after my own heart! It’s a poke cake so that sweetened condensed milk and caramel goodness is all throughout when it comes out of the oven. The combo of rich cake with whipped topping is unforgettable. I guess I’m going to have to share it with the kids now, right?

Quick Tip: You can use any type cake mix you like. To tone down the richness go for a butter or yellow cake.
