My family gobbles these up! They are super sticky and delicious and make a good recipe for a whole meal! Don’t hesitate to make these delicious wings for your next get together!
If you’d like that nice, crispy skin, you could throw the chicken wings on the grill or under the broiler for five minutes before serving. You’ll get a wonderful combination of crispy and juicy – I guarantee you’re going to want to lick your fingers clean!
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings
salt & pepper, to taste
1-1 1/2 cups favorite bbq sauce
celery, carrots, blue cheese or ranch dressing for serving
Instructions:
Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Put them in the crock pot and toss with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, until well coated. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until thoroughly cooked through.
Remove chicken wings from the slow cooker and baste generously with remaining barbecue sauce. Broil wings for a few minutes to crisp up the skin. Serve
