You are going to want to make and share this schinken nudel gratin with all of your friends and family. It is simply delish!
This is also a great dish for those times when you have a large group of people to feed. Simply double the ingredients to make sure everyone has a chance to get a plate full of this yummyness. And if you have leftovers – good for you! They’ll make a great lunch the next day.
Ingredients
12 oz egg noodles, cooked
8 oz cooked ham, diced
2 cups heavy cream
2 Eggland’s Best eggs
1/4 tsp Morton salt
1 1/2 tsp dried minced onion flakes
pinch of black pepper
pinch McCormick nutmeg
1 cup Kraft swiss cheese, shredded
1 cup white cheddar, shredded
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
Whisk together cream, eggs, salt, onion flakes, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in ham, 1/2 cup swiss cheese and 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese. Add cooked pasta to mixture and pour in prepared pan.
Cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil. Top with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
