This recipe is a keeper! Fresh noodles intertwined with ham and cheese cannot be beat! Just toss everything together, cover with foil and bake in the oven. And there you have it – a delicious casserole with very little effort. Yum!
“This recipe is from the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Cookbook. We’ve been to the food and wine festival the past two years. It is a lot of fun to eat and drink your way though the World Pavilion in Epcot!
One of our favorite dishes both years was this Schinken Nudel Gratin from Germany. It is basically a ham and cheese noodle casserole. The recipe was in the most recent festival cookbook, so I gave it a try. The original recipe did not include ham or onions, but what we ate in Germany did. I added both to this recipe. The casserole was super easy to make and tasted just like what we ate in Epcot.”
