Wake Your Family Up To The Most Delicious Smells Of Baked Eggs, Cheese And Bacon

The best part about this recipe is how simple it is to put together.  I buy the precooked bacon to cut my time in half, and just crisp it up right before topping the pizza.  I also make the fried eggs on the stovetop while the pizza is baking so they cook faster (I cook them in the leftover bacon fat to make it a bit tastier).

Sometimes I also add chopped cherry tomatoes, mainly because it makes this look even more delicious! This pizza is so great because it comes together in under 15 minutes and feeds around 6.  You can easily double or half this recipe to fit your needs and it’s filling and delicious all at the same time.

Ingredients

1 pizza dough (I used Betty Crocker instant pizza mix, but you can use your favorite)

2 Eggland’s Best eggs

1/2 cup TruMoo milk

1 cup Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup Kraft shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 lb Hormel bacon, diced and cooked until crispy

Extra eggs for topping the pizza

Fresh basil leaves for serving

 

 

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Cover a large cookie sheet or a pizza pan with foil and grease it.

Prepare the pizza dough you are using and spread over the pan or cookie sheet. Tip: roll an edge around the crust to keep the mixture from falling out later.

Spread mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the dough. Whisk the eggs and milk until blended and pour on pizza dough. Being careful not to spill over.

Top with more cheese and diced bacon.  You can either add the eggs for a fried egg now and have it baked, or let the pizza cook completely and prepare your fried eggs in a skillet.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
