This Fruity Dessert Will Be The Perfect Refresher At Your Next Dinner Party

There are so many alterations you can make to this recipe.  You can leave it without a crust or add a complete crust to the top of the dessert.  It is possible to mix other types of fruit (such as pineapple or strawberries) to change up the flavor.  Just make sure they are fruits that don’t fall apart.

You can certainly add a bit more cool whip to this recipe to balance out the sweetness.  However, I suggest the extra creamy cool whip to make it as delicious as it can possibly be.  Just know for certain, though, that whatever you do to this dessert, it will be a family favorite.

Ingredients

60 Ritz crackers, in crumbs

1 stick Land O’ Lakes butter, melted

1/4 cup Domino sugar

1 can sweetened condensed milk

8 oz Tropicana orange juice

3 or 4 cans mandarine oranges

1 10 oz extra creamy cool whip

Directions

  1. Mix crackers, butter, and sugar and pat into 9”x13” pan. (reserve 1 cup of crumbs)
  2. Mix milk and orange juice, fold in oranges and cool whip, and layer over cracker mixture.
  3. Sprinkle remaining cracker crumbs on top.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Enjoy!

Quick Tip: Use more mustard in the potato salad sauce to give it an extra kick of flavor.
