This Isn’t Just Another Banana Bread Recipe

My mom did her best to try and feed us healthy foods when we were growing up. Fruit has always been a bit expensive, and we couldn’t always afford to buy it with the weekly groceries. A lot of times when we did get fruit, she would pick bananas. I never liked bananas so I didn’t understand why she would get them so often. It was only one day when I saw her making banana bread, like this recipe from All Recipes, did I start to put it together.

My siblings would eat bananas, but we always had some that would go bad. Those she would turn into the most amazing dessert that I had ever tasted. It was a bread that was so moist and full of flavor.

I would take a slice fresh from the oven or warm it up with a slab of butter…heaven. Now, even though my kids aren’t huge fans of bananas, I find myself buying them all the time too…just so I can make this bread!
