Wish Upon A Star Burst With This Strawberry Cake

One of the first things I ever taught my sons was “wishing upon a star”. That’s how my Mom taught me and my brother to start dreaming. She told us that whenever we wish upon a star, it would come true, as long as we try our very best to work hard for it. She always said that the light from the star merely illuminates your dream- it’s still up to you on how you’re going to find it. In other words, you have a destination and it’s clear; you just want to make sure you get there.

One of them asked me, “Can I wish upon a moon, Momma?” And I said yes because there’s nothing wrong with wishing upon a moon too. I just told them that when they wish upon the moon, they have to work twice as hard.

This strawberry starburst cake recipe from Pixelated Crumb reminds me of those discussions with my son. The seemingly pretty starburst in the middle of this cake reminds me of hope and inspiration. Amidst all the strawberries, there is something different that came out.

The cake is extremely yummy. My family love this cake so much. They already love strawberries, and this recipe intensifies that love.

You should try making this for your family. I am pretty sure they will love this as much as mine does. You can grab copy of this recipe on the next page.
