Aunt Marge’s Tantalizing Lemon Meringue Pie

I remember talking about one of my aunts whose name is Marge. But this time, it’s Nico’s Aunt Marge and not mine. We call her Aunt Marge because she insisted on it. She said that any friend of her Nico’s is family to her so she wanted us to call her Aunt Marge. She is a bubbly, petite lady that reminds me so much of Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. She’s always cheerful and has a smile plastered on her youthful face.

Aunt Marge loves to bake a lot of sweets (she has a really huge kitchen) and she always sends Nico baked goodies that she tells him to share with us. One of Aunt Marge’s specialties is her lemon meringue pie. My mom used to make one when I was a kid, but hers was more of an old fashioned version that will always remind you of childhood memories and the experiences that came with them.

Aunt Marge’s pie, though, was different because hers reminds me of freshness and vibrancy and just anything fun and happy. This lemon meringue pie recipe that I will share with you reminds me of Aunt Marge’s version. It’s fresh, it’s sweet, and is just bursting with dessert goodness!
