This Little Piggy Went To Market…

When I was a little girl, I remember every night before bed, my dad used to sing 10 songs to me and my sisters.  They were in no particular order, nor were they always the same, but every day there were a few favorites that stuck.  He always chose the ones that made us laugh and well, we absolutely loved it. One of his favorites (and ours as well!) was This Little Piggy Went To Market.  If you do not know how it goes, look it up.  Basically, every little piggy resembles one toe he would point at each one.  Then when he got to the end, it would finish with some tickling.  We were always laughing over that one.

Well, those memories are always bringing me laughter and when I came across this recipe, I laughed a bit inside.  Not because it was funny at all, but because the thought of little pigs in a blanket reminded me of my dad’s little song to us when we were growing up.  These little pigs in a blanket are absolutely delicious.  They have some great flavor and the pretzel on the outside is superb.  Soft and chewy, while still perfectly flavorful is the way to go!
