The Barbecue Chicken Recipe That Ya’ll Will Approve Of

If you grew up in a family full of good cooks, one thing is certaineach family has a version of every dish you can ever imagine. In my family for example, Aunt Beth has her own version of stew. Aunt Carmen has her own version of roasted chicken. Mom has her own version of mashed potatoes. And so on and so forth. Sometimes, it gets tiring to see the same dish and just presented differently at the table. It happens all the time, believe me. There was one instance when there were four different kinds of chicken macaroni salad that was brought to out get-together. So instead of having like ten different dishes, we had seven different dishes.

However, when it came to barbecue, we only rely on Aunt Marge. She makes the best barbecue marinade that caters to everyone’s taste. Her marinade tastes sweet and salty at the same time with that hint of sourness (just a hint). It’s also a little spicy, but not too spicy that will have some of us balk at the hotness. With a healthy serving of Mom’s mashed potatoes and gravy, my lunch is perfect. This barbecue chicken recipe that I am about to share with you reminds me of Aunt Marge’s barbecue recipe, except this one is cooked in the oven instead of in a grill. Enjoy this recipe!
