This Is The Best Lemon Chicken Picatta Recipe Ever!

The other day I was at an Italian restaurant and saw chicken piccata on the menu.  I realized I had never tried it, so I decided today would be as good a time as any to make it.  I do not know why, but I always thought lemon chicken piccata was a pasta dish.  However, after asking the waitress, I found out it was not so, lemon chicken piccata was actually a style of cooking the chicken.  It had nothing to do with the side, but the sauce it was served in so I was even more intrigued.  I knew I had to give it a try!

Well, I tried it at the Italian restaurant with a side of pasta (I just felt like it needed pasta) and was so impressed.  This dish was so excellent.  The sauce was a beautiful lemon flavor full of herbs and spices that blended perfectly into a great evening dish.  I have tried so many different lemon flavored sauces in the past so I knew what to judge it on, and I will tell you this one is the best.  It is full of flavor, texture and creaminess that makes it perfect.
