Chocolate And Coconut Dance Together In This Delightful Dessert

I love when I am able to combine two of my favorite flavors perfectly.  I have always loved chocolate. I mean, my entire life I have loved a good plate of chocolate cake, or chocolate cheesecake, chocolate cookies, or anything else that has loads of chocolate in it.  It is the perfect afternoon snack, breakfast or dessert.  They are full of delicious flavor, have great texture and really, I mean, who does not love a good plate of chocolate anything? I wish I could eat more of it, but my scale tells me to stay away. Haha!

Anyway, my whole life I have hated coconut.  It is just not my thing and I really do not like it.  At least I did not think I did.  Recently, I was at Panera Bread having my usual you pick two of broccoli cheddar soup and apple fuji salad with a side of baguette when I saw they had a new dessert: chocolate dipped coconut macaroons. I decided to give it a go with a cup of coffee for dessert.  Oh my goodness. It was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and so delicious.  I loved the crunch from the coconut and the richness of the chocolate.  It was so amazing!
