Toad In The Hole – A Fun, Old-Fashioned Recipe

When I was a little girl my mom would make these funny little things called “Toad in the Hole” for my sisters and I to eat. What it was was a piece of bread with the center cut out and a fried egg in its place. We thought those little things were so dang good and totally silly!

My mom would make them for us for breakfast and sometimes even as a fun dinner when dad was away working. I always looked forward to toad in the hole dinners with mom and my siblings. You will find that these little guys are super easy to make and your kids will totally dig them!
