We were supposed to go camping this weekend, but the RV decided to not cooperate by having two flat tires. The kids were super disappointed and so was I. We needed some time in the great outdoors. Of course, being the enterprising family we are we went ahead and put up a tent in the backyard. We also had a cookout, and I made this amazing pie for dessert.
I have to laugh because of course everyone devoured the pie, but they still wanted to make traditional s’mores. So, needless to say it was s’more overload. The pie really does do the dessert justice. Personally, I preferred the pie over anything because it was a cool dessert on a hot summer day.
