I love a good ol’ ooey, gooey pasta dish. Maybe a lasagna, covered in melted cheese so that every time you pull, the cheese just strings out really long? Or a baked ziti coated in cheese so the same thing happens when you pick from it. Because I love gooey cheese, every time I make a baked dish, I try to bake them in individual ramekins so everyone gets their own gooey portion of cheese. That just makes any meal that much better! Now, I know gooey cheese is delicious in pasta, but have you had it in other ways?
No, I do not mean sandwiches. Neither do I mean in savory cookies. Oh no, the best way I have tried stuffing cheese into is meatballs. Yep, you read that right! Meatballs stuffed in cheese are just another way to infuse cheese into an Italian dish. Think of it, meatballs infused with cheese, then placed in a ramekin with baked ziti. Then add more cheese and bake longer… oh my gosh, that is just cheesy goodness galore! Do not wait to give these a try at another time. You are going to love putting these together at any time of day and enjoying them at every opportunity.
