Holiday dinners are something that I look forward to all year long. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners are the biggest food parties that I put on. I love cooking for my family.
Up until last year, I was making traditional sweet potatoes for the gathering, however, I came across a recipe for sweet potato casserole and just knew I had to try it. As soon as I had made it for the first time, I realized there’s no way I could ever have this just once a year! So I have included it on our dinner routine and my family is really happy about that.
The kids go wild every time they hear this is on the day’s menu! This casserole is smooth, creamy, and sweet just the way sweet potatoes should be. I can tell you that everyone loved this side dish. To me, it almost seemed like it was more of a dessert rather than a casserole!

Quick Tip: I like to add some mini marshmallows to the top of my sweet potato casserole, how about you?
