All Hail The Goddess! The Green Goddess, That Is.

As a young teenage girl, I remember going to a nice restaurant with my entire family to celebrate Mother’s Day. There was a huge buffet set up with all kinds of food on it. It was a lovely time and I know my mom enjoyed herself. Anyway, on the salad table, I noticed this big bowl of what looked like green ranch dressing. I didn’t see any other dressing up there other than Italian so I tried my luck with the green goo.

 

I am so glad I was brave that day and decided to try a new food. The “green goo” wasn’t goo at all but rather a dressing called “Green Goddess.” It was smooth, creamy, and zesty. In fact, it sort of reminded me of Ranch dressing but, better! So, I am glad that I found a recipe for this dressing and now I get to share it with all of you.
