Hey, again folks! Today, we are focusing on good old fashioned macaroni and cheese. However, this recipe has a “squashy” twist to it. Can you guess what it is? Haha, yep! Squash!
Now, you might be thinking “what in the world does squash have to do with mac and cheese?” Well, ladies and gentlemen, I thought the same thing! But after making this recipe and sampling its goodness, I am a believer in using squash in my baked mac and cheese from now on.
This little yellow veggie gave my casserole a serious flavor makeover. You are going to love this! My kids and husband wolfed this squash mac and cheese down like nobody’s business and they had no idea that it contained this squishy veggie!
I told them after the fact and they looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well, they can’t say that they don’t like it haha!
