I took a trip over to my favorite apple orchard with my middle son the other say, and guess what they were harvesting? Peaches! I am so excited about this because I love making peach desserts like pie.
I also enjoy canning spiced peaches for yummy recipes that can be made during the fall and winter. I grabbed up a bushel of the sweet, ripe peachy peaches and took ’em on home with me. My son asked me what I was going to do with all of those peaches and I told him, “make peaches and cream pie of course!”
He told me I was way too excited about this. Of course, once he tasted my peaches and cream pie, he was the one who seemed overly excited haha! I don’t blame him, though, because this recipe for peaches and cream pie is to die for. So juicy and sweet! Yum!
