I am a morning person. I know there are many people out there who are not, but mornings are my favorite time of the day. I usually wake up before anyone else does and enjoy my coffee in peaceful silence. Everything is quiet except for the birds chirping outside my window. Nothing could make these serene moments any better other than a slice of cinnamon roll coffee cake to go with my cuppa Joe. I was head over heels when I came across this recipe for just that. Even if you are not a morning person, this recipe is enough to rouse you right outta bed.
You can make this coffee cake the night before so that it is ready for you and your brood come the morning light. It is super easy to rewarm in the microwave or even in the oven for a few minutes.
