My daughter’s tenth birthday was coming up, and the planning for the party had begun. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to those kinds of things. so I start early. I want to give my daughter the chance to come up with any ideas that she might have as well, with it being her birthday and all. If she comes up with something I’m not knowledgeable about, it gives me enough time to research it and figure out if it’s going to work or if I can find what we need.
When she told me that she didn’t want cake, she wanted ice cream sandwiches instead, my mind instantly went to the kind you get in the frozen food section. Was that good enough for a tenth birthday? Probably not.
That’s when I took to the internet to see if I could find something that would be worthy enough. Thanks to Group Recipes, we got to try out these lip-smackingly good Mexican ice cream sandwiches. Wow!
