We had some family coming into town from down South for the week, and we couldn’t have been more excited. It seemed like we never had company at our house anymore. It’s like everyone grew up and moved away and we stayed right in the same ol’ small town. I love our little town. It’s a great place to raise children. Everyone knows everyone. And it’s where I grew up, so what’s not to love about it? It was always fun to have people come to visit though.
I knew that it was going to be a long week full of kids and craziness, so one thing I did to make things a bit easier was to schedule all of our meals. Of course, I blocked out a few spots to go out to eat and order pizza, but for the most part, I was doing the cooking.
One of the meals was going to require a bread to go along with it, so I was making sweet potato biscuits just like the ones my Grandma used to make. Her recipe was just like this one from Group Recipes. So easy, and so tasty!

Quick Tip: You can pop leftovers in the microwave for a few seconds to give them that just baked taste again.
