My grandmother lives in an assisted living apartments. They are actually really nice! I was skeptical at first because I thought it was a nursing home, but it is definitely not! It’s a very nice set of apartments with just a little extra help which makes me feel really happy knowing that my grandmother has someone there whenever she needs someone.
I visit her every single week. She is by far my favorite family member. She has always been so supportive of me when I was growing up and going to school. I absolutely love visiting her and listening to her words of wisdom. I also love bringing her sweet treats. She is a chocoholic! I am also a chocoholic so it works out quite well. I always bring her some chocolatey goodness.
Her favorite thing to eat is something that I make specially for her and I. I make a chocolate brownie mix banana bread! This is so delicious! Her and I can slice up this sweet treat and talk for hours. We could practically eat the entire loaf if we are not careful. Well, we never try to be careful. We just like to indulge every now and then. No harm in that! Especially with a yummy bread like this!
