I love going out to eat with my husband. In fact, it’s pretty much all we ever get to do for date night. Time is short most days so we go grab a quick bite, catch up on life, and get back home to the kiddos. Between paying for dinner and a babysitter, date night can get pretty expensive anymore. Recently, when we were already running a little low on funds, I decided that I would create our own date night at home. The kids were going to be gone to their friend’s houses for the night, so we didn’t have to pay for a babysitter.
I found a recipe for stuffed pork chops on All Recipes, and it looked fancy enough to be served at a restaurant so that’s what I was going for. Pork chops were on sale that week too, so I had already grabbed some of those. Everything was just falling into place.
These went together a lot easier than what I thought. I was worried they were going to be difficult, because they looked so nice. They really weren’t hard at all though. And the hubby loved them! It was the perfect date night in.
