Somewhere around once a month, my brother has to go out of town on business. Most of the time, his wife Jame stays home with the kids so I don’t even really notice that they are gone. However, once in a blue moon, he gets the chance to take her with him, and she has the opportunity to go. I don’t blame them, they jump all over the chance. When that happens, they always ask if I can watch my niece and nephew for a couple of days. Of course, I love to have them at my house.
Whenever they are over it’s like a little mini vacation. I get to break up the monotony of the every day and play with little kids all day. I haven’t done that since my youngest was little, and he’s in college now. I also get to make fun new foods when they are here, kid food if you will.
All Recipes had a recipe for French toast dippers that I saw one day and saved for the next time they were over. These went over extremely well with the kids, and my husband and I actually enjoyed them too. Fun and delicious! The perfect combination.
