We were all getting ready for another big church luncheon. We love to get together as much as we can for some social time as well as planning. It’s at these lunches that we discuss any upcoming plans we have for fundraisers, trips, and any other events that we may want to have in the future. I usually volunteer to bring a dessert, just because I am better at baking than I am at cooking. There is always room for dessert, too! I don’t think that we have ever had more than we needed.
The weather was getting warmer, so I wanted to make something that was fitting to the season and the temperature. I saw this recipe from a lemon and citrus no-bake cheesecake on Bakerita. I figured that’s what I was looking for, so I got all the ingredients and whipped it together for all of my friends.
Even though the ingredients were a bit complex, the instructions were simple and it went together very nicely. It was one of the most popular desserts on the table that day. Nobody could get over how fun and summery it looked!
