Who knew that ice cream bars could make a cake? Not me! I can say that my kids were excited at just the notion of a cake like this, and it turned out like something you’d buy off the shelves. Layered ice cream cake goodness is so simple, there’s no need to buy these favorites from the freezer section anymore.
We had fun assembling this treat, and my kids each picked a different candy bar to crumble on top. So ours was KitKat and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I can honestly say this is better than anything I’ve had from Dairy Queen or Baskin Robbins, and that’s saying a lot! It also stores well in the freezer if you cover it with wax paper, so we ate it all week long.

Quick Tip: Have family members help you unwrap the ice cream bars, just make sure they don’t eat them while they are unwrapping.
