I have a love for Indian cuisine. Some people have a problem with the smell of the food, but for me curry is one of the best smells in the world! I started to divulge into the world of Indian food almost two decades ago. I was in college and lived in a tiny apartment with two of my girlfriends. Next door lived an Indian couple who made the most delicious smelling food ever! A lot better smelling then the ramen noodles that we were eating that is for sure!
One day I had seen the couple in the hallway and I said hello. I then turned around and told them that I had smelt their food and thought it smelt absolutely succulent! They thanked me and then asked if I had ever eaten Indian food before. I told them that I was from a very small town and had never tried lots of foods, certainly not Indian food. They immediately invited myself and my roommates over for dinner.
They made butter chicken, rice, and naan bread. It was amazing! I will never forget that meal. After that meal I had to try more Indian cuisine and I did. But to this day, butter chicken remains my absolute favorite. This recipe is so delicious and easy to make. There are so many flavors that make a very aromatic smell when it’s cooking. Try it out and you will not be disappointed.
